About Me:

I started teaching a little later in life than most. I graduated from UMD in 2004 with a degree in English Literature. I spent a few years blissfully working at a coffee shop where everyone is talkative and happy to see one another. I then spent a few years as a stay-at-home mom raising the two little rugrats in the photo below. During that time, I realized the most important thing to me was to share the passion I have for life with those around me. This realization led to my decision to pursue a career in teaching. As well as teaching students about reading and writing, I try to teach them to be considerate, appreciative, an understanding individuals. Not just of one another but also of their environment, both in doors and out of doors. With that said, I pride myself on being open and honest, so please never hesitate to contact with any question or concerns. I will do my best to put your mind at ease.
